🌵 Desert Bloom Mix

Fast-Draining Living Soil for Cactus & Succulents

Desert Bloom is a biologically active, fast-draining soil blend designed specifically for cacti, succulents, and drought-tolerant plants.

Built with our slow-produced worm castings, biochar, sand, bark fines, and mineral-rich amendments, this mix delivers the drainage desert plants need — without sacrificing living soil biology.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor succulents, cacti, and moisture-sensitive plants.

⭐ Why It Works

Fast Drainage, No Root Rot
Sand, bark fines, vermiculite, and biochar create a porous structure that prevents compaction and allows excess water to move through quickly.

Slow-Produced Worm Castings (6–9 Months)
Our worms process clean food waste and wood chips over 6–9 months — producing biologically rich castings that support root health without overwhelming delicate desert plants.

Stronger Root Systems
Mycelium supports nutrient exchange at the root level, helping plants establish deeper, more resilient root structures.

Balanced Nutrition Without Overfeeding
Compost and castings provide steady, natural nutrients designed for steady growth — not soft, overwatered growth.

🌿 Ingredients

  • Worm Castings (produced over 6–9 months using clean food waste &  wood chips)
  • Biochar
  • Sand
  • Bark Fines
  • Vermiculite
  • Rich Compost
  • Mycelium

No synthetic fertilizers. No peat-based shortcuts. No fillers.

🛠 How To Use

Repotting Cactus & Succulents
Use as a complete soil replacement when repotting. Gently remove old soil, place plant in container, and fill with Desert Bloom mix.

Refreshing Existing Pots
Remove top 1–2 inches of old soil and replace with fresh mix.

Propagation & Cuttings
Use for leaf or stem propagation to encourage root development while maintaining proper drainage.

Outdoor Containers & Rock Gardens
Use as a base soil blend for drought-tolerant landscaping.

Water thoroughly after planting, then allow soil to dry fully between waterings.

🔄 Use It When You Notice

  • Mushy stems or root rot
  • Soil staying wet too long
  • Compacted potting mix
  • Slow growth in succulents
  • Overwatering damage

♻️ Made Locally in Small Batches

Our worm castings are produced slowly over 6–9 months using clean, high-quality inputs — not rushed through short production cycles. Every batch is mixed locally in small quantities to ensure quality, drainage balance, and living soil performance.

Because desert plants need drainage — but they still deserve real biology.
